Here are the before and after images of the intake valves that we cleaned up with the help of your Injector cleaner. The cause of the carbon build up is due to the fact that direct injection engines don't have the benefit of atomised fuel to continuously clean the valves and intake ports, and with the complex pcv systems in the modern engines recycling unburnt fuels just adds to the carbon build up in this area. Periodic injection cleaning helps this cleans the area up like new
